FIN-MISSION

Substance abuse and street outreach work

Drug addicts and other street children pose a challenge to the entire Christian church, before which everyone feels great helplessness. Who could help them and share the Gospel with them? Who could provide adequate follow-up care, a safe home, and a Christian community where they could embrace a new life? Fortunately, there are people who do exactly that.

Everyone working in this field experiences a deep sense of inadequacy, because the challenge is truly enormous. The problem affects the entire church, yet those dedicated to drug and street ministry are few, and even they often work very much alone. Networking and offering support and help where the fight for these neighbors takes place is more important than many might realize. We must no longer leave those doing this work on their own, but stand alongside them, helping where we can and providing our support in this demanding ministry.

Alone we are powerless, but together we can accomplish much. FIN unites efforts in this area by building the necessary network, so that every worker can sustain their ministry and the work can bear even greater fruit.

The problem is global, and therefore international networking is one of our key goals.
